Diane's notes about her compositions
Although I wrote these pieces and love piano music, I am not a performer/recording artist, therefore, please forgive the imperfections.
At Break of Dawn, Rowing in the Dawn, and Sunlight are pieces inspired by the summers when my husband, Dave, rowed his boat in the mornings at dawn on Lake Minnetonka.
I wrote Big Island (of Hawaii) during and after a visit to my brother Doug who lived in or near Hilo for 18 years and passed away in 2018. The Big Island of Hawaii holds many special memories for me.
One Day is a piece that simply poured out of my soul.
